At Manchester Psychotherapy Clinic, we offer thoughtful, trauma-informed clinical supervision for psychotherapists, counsellors, and mental health professionals at all stages of practice.

Supervision Grounded in Integrity and Inclusion

Our approach is rooted in the seven-eyed model, enriched by integrative, person-centred, and trauma-focused frameworks. We bring a strong emphasis on reflective practice, relational depth, and the internal world of the therapist.

We hold a neurodivergent-affirming lens throughout, supporting you to work safely and effectively with clients who are autistic, ADHD, aphantasic, or navigating sensory and cognitive difference.

This is a space where your professional development and your wellbeing as a therapist are both respected.

Specialist Trauma Supervision

Our supervisors are senior practitioners with extensive experience in trauma therapy, including EMDR, IFS (Internal Family Systems), and dissociation-informed work. We also support practitioners integrating polyvagal theory, somatic techniques, and parts work into their clinical practice.

You’ll receive space for both clinical thinking and personal process — recognising that good supervision is not only about risk management, but about therapeutic presence, ethical confidence, and staying connected to your values.

Types of Supervision Offered

  • Individual Supervision: Focused space for case consultation, reflective exploration, and supervisory alliance. Sessions are available online or in-person at our Manchester clinic.
  • Group Supervision: A collaborative setting for shared learning, peer support, and professional insight. Group supervision is available across different themes, including EMDR integration and neurodivergence-affirming practice.

All sessions meet BACP supervision requirements and can be tailored to your accreditation needs or modality focus.
