Clinical Supervision Manchester: Support for Ethical, Embodied Practice
At Manchester Psychotherapy Clinic, we offer thoughtful, trauma-informed clinical supervision for psychotherapists, counsellors, and mental health professionals at all stages of practice.
Whether you're a trainee seeking grounded support, a newly qualified practitioner building confidence, or a senior therapist looking to deepen your trauma and neurodivergence competence, our supervision space offers structure, insight, and relational presence.
Supervision Grounded in Integrity and Inclusion

Our approach is rooted in the seven-eyed model, enriched by integrative, person-centred, and trauma-focused frameworks. We bring a strong emphasis on reflective practice, relational depth, and the internal world of the therapist.
We hold a neurodivergent-affirming lens throughout, supporting you to work safely and effectively with clients who are autistic, ADHD, aphantasic, or navigating sensory and cognitive difference.
This is a space where your professional development and your wellbeing as a therapist are both respected.

Specialist Trauma Supervision
Our supervisors are senior practitioners with extensive experience in trauma therapy, including EMDR, IFS (Internal Family Systems), and dissociation-informed work. We also support practitioners integrating polyvagal theory, somatic techniques, and parts work into their clinical practice.
You’ll receive space for both clinical thinking and personal process — recognising that good supervision is not only about risk management, but about therapeutic presence, ethical confidence, and staying connected to your values.
Types of Supervision Offered

- Individual Supervision: Focused space for case consultation, reflective exploration, and supervisory alliance. Sessions are available online or in-person at our Manchester clinic.
- Group Supervision: A collaborative setting for shared learning, peer support, and professional insight. Group supervision is available across different themes, including EMDR integration and neurodivergence-affirming practice.
All sessions meet BACP supervision requirements and can be tailored to your accreditation needs or modality focus.
